Comphya SA
Comphya is a swiss medical device company developing the first implantable neurostimulator to restore the erectile function of patients who are non-responsive to oral drugs (e.g. Viagra). Today, these patients resort to painful, problematic and outdated methods such as intrapenile injections or penile prosthesis. Comphya fills the need for better modalities, with a more comfortable, efficacious and safe treatment. Our proven technology consists of implanting a neuro-stimulator in the pelvic cavity, which will selectively activate the pro-erectile nerves to restore natural penile erection. The main target segments are spinal cord injury and prostatectomy patients, a CHF100M and 1B market, respectively.

SensArs Neuroprosthetics Sarl
SensArs’ is an EPFL spinoff that was founded by pioneers in neuromodulation and neuroprosthetics, having made the first European implants of electrodes in amputees’ nerves for the restoration of sensory feedback from their prosthesis. SensArs develops and commercializes nerve stimulators, which unlike competition, access fibers inside the nerve, maximizing stimulation selectivity. We target 7% of the world population affected by peripheral neuropathies, i.e. nerve damage that causes movement disabilities due to sensory loss and chronic pain.
