Building on the success of our Annual Biotech in Europe Investor Forum and with great interest from our partners Sachs Associates hosted the European Life Science CEO Forum for Investing & Partnering in Biotech, Medtech, Speciality Pharma & Emerging Markets, 22-23 April 2008, Zurich.

The forum had a focus on growth companies and new business champions in the sector and with participation from industry leaders and an awards dinner highlighting major partnering and investment deals, the European Life Science CEO Forum for Investing & Partnering in Biotech, Medtech, Speciality Pharma & Emerging Markets provided a great opportunity for participants to network with their peers and keep up to date with current industry trends.

The forum featured partnering presentations headed by senior Big Pharma representatives, highlighting current and future strategic trends and they lead on to a networking lunch.

New to the forum was a focus on Speciality Pharma with participants from the sector involved in a discussion panel.

The forum also provided the opportunity for companies to raise their profile by promoting their interests to the larger financial community and the opportunity to communicate face to face with fund managers, analysts and advisors.

The forum featured over 40 companies presenting and over 300 delegates plus dedicated meeting rooms. The program followed a similar format to our Biotech in Europe Investor Forum but included the following new features:

• Recognition of achievement through our European Life Science Innovation Awards 
• Focus on specialty pharma & medtech as well as biotechnology
• Focus on CEOs and Business Leaders of emerging growth companies
