De Facto Communications is the consultancy of choice if you’re looking for the best in strategic communications in life science and healthcare. We have been leaders in our field since 1989 and our reputation for informed honest advice backed by effective service delivery is second to none. Being part of the Bell Pottinger Group - the UK’s largest communications consultancy, we offer large agency reach and real international influence. We are dedicated to giving you a clear advantage in today’s increasingly competitive marketplace.
For global pharmaceutical companies, the perceived value of their drug pipeline is increasingly critical to their corporate reputation. For smaller life science businesses, discovering and developing new drugs - where time to profitability is longer than in almost any other industry, reputation is entirely dependent on the credibility of management, the strength of the drug pipeline and the sustainability of the business model.
At De Facto we have a huge array of experience in brand-building communications – B2C, B2B and direct to stakeholder. We work with ambitious, ground-breaking companies to help them define the very essence of their brand, then manage the complexities of building its profile in this fluid and challenging marketplace.
De Facto already represents some of the world’s leading pharmaceutical, healthcare technology and medical device companies, providing strategic support and award-winning tactical implementation.
With their wide-ranging experience, we can create bespoke account teams that exactly match your markets, audiences and communications objectives.
This experience is underpinned by the ability to balance commercial, medical and regulatory environments with the attitudes and concerns of opinion leaders, patients and consumers, thereby creating awareness and bringing about changes in attitudes.
We have successfully helped a variety of businesses and organisations to achieve their goals - whether communicating the benefits of a new medical device to healthcare professionals or raising awareness of new genetic markers in cardiac disease to clinicians and the general public alike.
We have a dedicated team of experienced professionals who specialise in accelerating patient recruitment into our clients’ clinical studies. Working closely with clinical development teams we develop and manage direct-to-patient clinical trial recruitment and retention programmes.
Each programme is strategically developed through careful analysis of the study targets and demographics and is designed for implementation at local level. By utilising previous experience and identifying potential challenges to recruitment and retention in each country, we develop a unique programme that will work for every study.
Using marketing, advertising, PR and other communications tactics we not only encourage patients to participate in studies, but also support clinical investigators by maximising their motivation and making it easy for them to communicate clearly with patients.
Our access to the media, the financial community, government bodies, thought leaders and regulators usually exceeds our clients’ expectations. De Facto’s team is committed to working with you as a true business partner and to building long-term relationships whether you are based in the UK, Europe or the U.S.
