Following the success of the Sachs-Bloomberg European Venture Capital Forum 2001, with 60 presenting companies and over 800 attending over 2 days, we are now pleased to inform you about the 2nd Annual European Venture Capital Forum, which will take place in the same venue on the 29-30 January 2002. The purpose of the forum is to review the state of the VC industry and how to successfully address current market challenges. Investors are offered exclusive opportunities to review a diverse range of groundbreaking and emerging technologies. Which existing high-tech companies are worth further financing and support? What are the upcoming opportunities in the new technologies areas such as alternative energy, nanotechnology and security technology? Which are the most promising ventures in biotechnology? Similarly, the conference also provides an excellent environment for high-tech companies to successfully seek funding and network with investors. The programme includes a limited number of plenary presentations by leading VCs, Corporates and Investment Banks, followed by sector panels and streamed sector workshops featuring up to 60 early stage to pre-IPO companies from TMTI and biotech sectors.
