Dr. Christian Reitberger Assistant Director

Apax Partners is one of the world’s largest private equity groups dedicated to high performance, entrepreneurial businesses. The group advises a number of Investment Pools with an accumulated total of €12 billion. For the Investment Pools we advise in Germany we are searching investment opportunities in 6 industries: Healthcare / Biotechnology, Consumer Goods / Retail, Telecommunication Information Technology, Media / Entertainment, Financial Services. At the moment we emphasise on investments in large MBOs/MBIs and in high growth companies with sales of over DM 100 million. The minimum amount for an investment is DM 15-20 million, with no maximum limit. In the areas of Biotechnology and Information Technology (IT) we are also interested in “small” companies that are still in the start-up stages. An investment of under DM 15 million is possible in these two industries. The Apax Partners group, which is structured as a partnership, employs approximately 180 professionals with offices in Europe, the USA, Israel and Japan. The truly international group was founded by Alan Patricof more than 25 years ago.
