Mr Genadi Man, Chairman & CEO,
Telesens AG

Genadi Man, CEO of TelesensKSCL AG, studied industrial design at the Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem and received numerous awards for his work as a designer in Tel Aviv. As a member of the managing board of Conos AG, he set up one of the first private corporate networks in Germany. Shortly after this, he discovered in Israel the software company Mind CTI, which was developing a program that registers and analyzes call data records in telephone systems. In 1995, Man founded a subsidiary in Germany, Telesens, which, since 1998, has been developing its own billing software. In 1998, he established a Development Center at Kharkov in the Ukraine. Genadi Man has been pressing ahead systematically with the expansion of Telesens. By acquiring the Scottish provider of billing solutions for mobile-based and fixed line telephony – KSCL – the largest independent product house for billing systems in Europe has been constituted: TelesensKSCL.

Dr Zvi Marom, CEO,

Dr. Zvi Marom is the founder and CEO of BATM. Dr. Marom started the company in 1992 as a bootstrap and brought it to a world-class company. Dr. Zvi Marom holds Degrees in Engineering and Medicine. Prior to the establishing of BATM Dr. Marom was the head of the Electrical faculty of Israeli Open University and senior consultant to several industrial and academic institutes. Zvi Marom graduated with excellence from the Naval Academy and served in combat command posts. Recently Dr. Marom won the “Techmark Personality of the Year” award from the London Stock Exchange.

Mr Juerg Neck, CFO,

Dr. Juerg Neck, Chief Financial Officer; he has been working for Crealogix since the beginning of 2000. He completed his studies in economics at the University of Zurich with a thesis on Exchange Rates and Monopolistic Import Goods Markets. Mr. Neck has strong experience from the finance industry (Citibank, Credit Suisse) and as a management consultant; as such he concentrated primarily on strategic and BPR projects. He was a partner in a trust company where he handled strategic accountancy and audit mandates. His most recent endeavour was the restructuring of the finance department of a software company.

They have made a number of investments in private emerging healthcare companies. In the past year the majority of the team’s business has had a US element. Prior to joining Nomura, he was Director of Treasury and Investment at a major UK insurance company and scored a Micropal first over five years for his Pensions Management Fund. He was Extel rated as an investment analyst while at Hoare Govett and has been involved in the investment industry for over twenty years. A U.S. citizen, he was founder and director of Hoare Govett Inc.

During his time RTL Television, Puschnig has been credited in having taken RTL+ from a Luxembourg station in 1984 to today’s conglomerate network.

Dr. Andrew Rickman, CEO & Chairman,

Dr Andrew G. Rickman OBE has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Bookham Technology since founding it in 1988. Prior to starting-up Bookham Technology, Dr Rickman was an Associate in the Oxford Ventures Group, which helped start-up companies with advice on business issues and finding capital. Dr Rickman was also a consultant to GenRad at this time, specialising in signal processing. Before this, from 1984 to 1987, Dr Rickman worked for GenRad’s Silicon Valley division. Dr Rickman is a Chartered Engineer holds an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College, London, an MBA from Cranfield University and a PhD in integrated optics from the University of Surrey. He was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Millennium Honours List for services to the telecommunication industry.

During that period, he also founded and managed Institut ERIS, a training company dedicated to technology and product training in the telecommunications field. Before that, he held various technical and management positions at 3Com France. Mr. Ries holds an MBA from the Sorbonne University in Paris and an engineering degree from Ecole Centrale de Paris.

Dr. Alastair Riddell, CEO,

Dr. Alastair Riddell was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Pharmagene plc in January 1998, joining from Caremark (UK) Ltd., where he was Managing Director. His career began in biological research and then medicine, including six years in acute hospital specialities and general practice. He entered the pharmaceutical industry in 1983 holding senior clinical development posts in Lederle, Xoma, Celltech and Centocor before moving to sales and marketing. He was worldwide head of marketing for the healthcare division of Amersham International before being made General Manager of its Northern Europe organization. Alex Ryshawy joined Paribas in 1996 and is currently a Senior Equity Analyst with the European Technology research team in London. He received a candidature degree in Economical Sciences from the University of Louvain La Neuve (Belgium) and a European masters from EAP-European School of Management in Paris, Madrid and Oxford. Fabrizio also completed the Finance for Executives programme at INSEAD.
