For the past five years, William Browder has been running Hermitage
Capital Management, the leading international asset management firm,
which currently manages $400M. Mr. Browder started Hermitage Capital
in 1996 in partnership with the late Edmond Safra. In 1996 and 1997,
Hermitage Fund was ranked Best Performing Fund in the World
by Micropal and Best Russian Fund by Lipper (1997-1998.)
Mr. Browders position on corporate governance practices in
Russia has made him a leading shareholder rights activist and outspoken
fighter for better corporate governance. He serves as a member of
the OECD/World Bank roundtable on Corporate Governance in Russia,
and often reports on shareholder rights issues to international
financial institutions. He was named a Global Leader of Tomorrow
at the World Economic Forum in Davos 2001, and is a regular speaker
at Bloomberg, CNBC, Euromoney conferences and serves as a Russia
expert to FT, Wall Street Journal and New York Times. Prior to starting
Hermitage, Mr. Browder was a Vice President at Salomon Brothers
where he managed the firms proprietary investments in Russia.
Before that, he was a management consultant within the East European
practice of the Boston Consulting Group in London. He received an
MBA from Stanford Business School and a BA in Economics with highest
honors from the University of Chicago.

H. Howard Cooper (44) is the President of Teton Petroleum Company.
He has got a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from the University
of Colorado and a Master of Arts from Columbia University in New
York. Mr. Cooper formed Teton Petroleum in 1996 and he has got twenty
years of international oil experience. Before joining Teton, Mr.
Cooper was a partner in developing the Karakuduk field in Kazakhstan,
which is currently producing 8,500 barrels of oil per day.

Noreen Doyle, Deputy Vice President, Risk
Management
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development
Noreen Doyle is currently Deputy Vice President, Risk Management
of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and a member
of the EBRD's Executive Committee. Ms Doyle is accountable for overseeing
credit, market and operational risk of the Banks portfolio
of assets. In addition, she has responsibility for the cofinancing
function for commercial loans and equity investments of the EBRD,
and for EBRD relationships with international banks and financial
institutions. Ms. Doyle joined the European Bank in March, 1992
as head of syndications, was promoted to chief credit officer of
the Bank in 1994 and assumed her present responsibilities in 1997.
Prior to joining EBRD, Ms. Doyle spent eighteen years at Bankers
Trust Company in London, New York and Houston. Her last position
at Bankers Trust was in London as Managing Director, European loan
syndications, responsible for the underwriting and distribution
of loans in the European market and for the distribution in Europe
of loans originated in the United States and Asia. Prior to the
London assignment, she was responsible for four years for the underwriting
and distribution of leveraged financings in the United States. Previous
assignments included management of natural resources business of
Bankers Trust in Houston and New York, and general corporate finance
for companies in the Southwestern USA.
Ms. Doyle holds a B.A. degree in mathematics from the College of
Mount Saint Vincent in New York, and an M.B.A. degree in finance
from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration, Dartmouth
College, New Hampshire. She currently serves on the boards of Budapest
Bank in Hungary, BNP/Dresdner Bank (Bulgaria), and the Alliance
ScanEast Fund for investments in eastern Europe and the former Soviet
Union.. From 1979 through 1989, she served on the Board of Trustees
of the College of Mount Saint Vincent, including as its Chair from
1985 to 1989. From 1988 to 1998 she served on the Board of Overseers
of the Amos Tuck School.

Bruce K Misamore,

Mr. Misamore joined YUKOS in 2001 with over 23 years of prior experience
working with large multinational integrated and independent petroleum
companies.
Before joining YUKOS, Mr. Misamore was Senior Vice President - Finance
and Treasurer at PennzEnergy Company, a large US oil and gas independent.
Before that, in his capacity as Vice President - Finance and Treasurer
of Pennzoil Company, he was responsible for all finance and treasury
activities, strategic planning and a leader of its joint venture
financing activities. Prior to joining Pennzoil, Mr. Misamore was
with Marathon Oil Company for 17 years where his roles included
responsibility for the finance function and international finance
including an assignment as Treasurer of Marathon's UK operations
and its international oil and gas development/production organization
then based in London.
Mr. Misamore has also had experience as an investment manager for
pension and personal trust portfolios, has taught finance at the
university level, and has acted as a consultant on bank management
and investments.
Mr. Misamore received his bachelor's degree in finance from Bowling
Green State University in Ohio in 1972, and his master's degree
in finance from Bowling Green in 1973.Mr. Misamore was born in 1950
in Findlay, Ohio.

Stephen OSullivan, Head of Research

Stephen OSullivan is head of the Research Department and the
Oil and Gas team. He has nineteen years of experience in the energy
industries, the last nine of which have been focused on Russia.
Mr. OSullivan joined UFG in 1998 from MC Securities,
where he was head of Research covering the oil, gas and utility
sectors in Russia, Ukraine and Eastern Europe. He is a regular speaker
at conferences and industry gatherings and has advised a number
of major oil companies on investment strategies in Russia.
Mr. OSullivan worked for five years as an
energy consultant in Russia, Central Asia, the Far East, the Middle
East and Southern Africa. His work involved the valuation and privatization
of state oil companies in China, South Africa and Israel, as well
as economic evaluations of oil and gas investments in Siberia, the
Volga-Urals region and Kazakhstan. He spent three years with the
French oil company Total on exploration and natural gas activities
in Europe and five years with BP as an oil trader, economist and
corporate planner on Asia.
Mr. OSullivan was ranked the number 2 Emerging
Europe oil and gas analyst in 1996, 1997 and 1998, and his research
team was rated number 2 in Russia by Institutional Investor in both
2000 and 2001, the number 1 country team in 1997 and number 3 in
Emerging Europe in 1996. Since joining UFG, he has been ranked the
most influential foreign analyst on the Russian market and the number
3 oil and gas analyst across the Emerging Europe, Middle East and
Africa region.

Philip Poole is a Managing Director and Chief Regional Economist
at ING Barings. ING Barings research on Eastern Europe and Russia
has been recognised as the industry leader, being ranked as the
number one research house in surveys by IFR (1995/96), Reuters (1996/97),
Global Finance and Global Investor. Mr Poole has been voted number
one strategist for the region by Greenwich Associates, Reuters and
Global Investor and in 2000 Mr Poole was voted top regional economist
in a poll organised by Global Investor.
Mr Poole joined the ING Group in April 1994 to develop a London-based
emerging markets research capability. Prior to joining the group,
he was senior economist for Eastern Europe, Russia and the Middle
East at Barclays/BZW where he worked on a broad range of issues
including sovereign analysis, economic and financial modelling of
debt deals and privatisation work in Eastern Europe. He sat on the
Bank Advisory Committee for the Poland Brady deal, for which he
also chaired the economic and technical sub-committees. Before joining
Barclays, Mr Poole worked for two years in management consultancy
at Arthur Andersen and also spent a two year period in commercial
management within the Hanson Trust group.

Konstantin Shapovalenko, President

Mr. Shapovalenko has served as President of TransTeleCom (TTC) since
1998. Under his leadership, TTC has become Russias premier
broadband telecommunications services provider in just two years.
Prior to joining TTC, Mr. Shapovalenko was an advisor to the Ministry
of Railway Transportation on telecommunications issues. Before joining
the Ministry in1990, he co-founded several successful telecommunications
ventures, including St. Petersburg Teleport and LEPSS-Conversion.
Mr. Shapovalenko brings years of satellite telecommunications experience
with the Soviet space industry to his current role in the corporate
world. Mr. Shapovalenko holds an MS degree from the Mozhaiski Military
Engineering Institute.
In 2001 Mr. Shapovalenko became an Academician of the International
Telecommunication Academy.

Vyacheslav Shtyrov, President
ALROSA
Vyacheslav A. Shtyrov was born on May 23, 1953 in the city of Khandyga,
Yakutia. Since 1995 he is the President of ALROSA Joint Stock Company
(formerly Almazy Rossii-Sakha).
Mr. Shtyrov graduated from the Kuibyshev Far East
Polytechnics Institute (Vladivostok) with a degree in construction
engineering.
From 1975 to 1986 he worked at the Construction
Department of Viluigesstroi in Western Yakutia (the Russian Far
North), first as a foreman and then as a vice-president in charge
of production for the largest construction company in the North
East of Russia.
In July 1996 he graduated from the post-graduate
school of the Academy of Social Sciences (three-year program), and
received his Ph. D. in Economics.
Prior to being elected ALROSAs President, Mr. Shtyrov had
co-chaired its Supervisory Board.
As ALROSAs President, Mr. Shtyrov is focusing
on facilitating the companys international relations. Mr.
Shtyrov is a member of Russias inter-governmental commissions
on economic cooperation and a member of Davos Economic Forum (Switzerland).
In April 2000 President of the Russian Federation
awarded Mr. Shtyrov with the Honor Award for his input into promoting
of international friendship and cooperation.
Mr. Shtyrov has also received the honorary title
for his contribution to the Republic of Sakhas economy.

Konstantin Sidorov, 34-year-old President of the company, leads

A substantial part of Mr. Zimblers practice focuses on Russia
and other countries of the former Soviet Union. Since 1986, he has

the largest and most successful foreign investments. From 1995 to
2000, Mr. Zimbler served as managing partner of LeBoeufs Moscow
office, and was a full-time resident in Moscow. He also served as
President of the Moscow International Lawyers Group for two years
(19961998), and has acted as an arbitrator for the International
Commercial Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation Chamber of
Commerce and Industry, and for NAUFOR, the association of Russian
securities brokers and dealers.
Prior to his move to Moscow, Mr. Zimbler was based in San Francisco,
California, and practiced corporate law. He is a graduate of Harvard
College, Harvard Law School and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy,
and is admitted to the bars of California and the District of Columbia
(USA). Mr. Zimbler is proficient in French, Russian and Portuguese.
