The Sachs-Bloomberg Annual Global Biotech Forum is a highly international meeting which draws together an exciting cross-section of venture-funded and small-cap companies with leading investors and pharmas. The event annually attracts an audience of over 400 industry players.

The programme looks jointly at issue of BioPartnering and BioInvesting, with morning presentations from investors, pharmas and big biotechs.

These were followed by afternoon sector workshops featuring up to 50 smaller companies looking for finance/partnering. A special plenary session also featured up to 10 small-cap/listed company presentations.

In addition, there were separate science presentations from leading academics outlining developments in key research areas for future investment. Notably, the Academic Keynote on his research into Obesity as an area for future investment & commercial development was given by:
