The Sachs Bloomberg Global Biotech for European Investors drew together an exciting cross-section of venture-funded and small cap companies. The keynote speakers were drawn from the academic, corporate and financial community.

This event helped to bridge the continents within a European marketplace, and uniquely featured a line-up of Australian biotech companies. This forum provided an in-depth analysis of the sector investment opportunities and also an overview of venture and capital markets.

The Forum is similar in structure and scale to our recent European Biotech Forum in Munich, with attendance from over 400 corporates, VCs, investment bankers and pharmas, and featuring up to 60 capital-raising company presentations.

As before, we expect an international forum, with representation from UK, Germany, Scandinavia, Switzerland, Israel and U.S. – a list of participating companies at the previous Biotech event is available online. The event functions to a large extent as an IR platform for European analysts & media representatives, and offers extensive deal-making and networking opportunities. Like the Munich event, the programme will include plenary presentations by investment banks and VCs, as well as leading European & US academics and biotech companies. In addition, there will be more than 40 company presentations from start-up to pre-IPO biotech organisations in the afternoon sector workshops.

The afternoon workshops will cover a range of sectors including:

The conference will also feature a morning Small Cap & Pre-IPO Panel with additional company presentations.
