BOSTON, Feb. 2, 2004 — Sachs Associates announced
today that it will co-host, along with Bloomberg LP, its third annual
“Sachs-Bloomberg Global Biotech Forum for Investing &
Partnering,” to be held April 1-2, 2004, at the Fairmont Copley
Plaza hotel in Boston.
This two-day international event will bring together
venture-funded and publicly traded companies with leading investors
and pharmaceutical companies. Last year’s event attracted
more than 400 investors and business-development executives, along
with 50 presenting companies.
“This year’s forum will attract not only
many of the world’s most successful biotech investors but
also many of the pharmaceutical industry’s savviest business-development
directors,” said Leonard Sachs, Managing Director of Sachs
Associates. “In short, this forum will serve as an excellent
